Job summary

YMCA Trinity Group is recruiting a Youth Worker to join the RAF Wittering team in Peterborough. This role supports planning, delivering and evaluating play activities that are inclusive and engaging for young people.

The position is a permanent, part-time contract (2 hours per week) with shifts Tue or Thu 18:00–20:00, offering DBS processing, induction and opportunities for progression within a nationwide youth charity network.

Qualifications

• Level 2 (or above) qualification in Youth Work or Play Work desirable.
• Some experience with children and young people.
• Commitment to safeguarding of children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, delivery and evaluation of engaging youth play activities.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment for children and young people.
