One YMCA Group is seeking a casual Youth Worker to join the Airplay team at RAF Henlow in the United Kingdom. You will help run engaging, supportive sessions for children and young people aged 5–18, both in-centre and in outreach settings.
The role is part-time (6 hours per week) with evenings and weekend flexibility, full training provided, and a friendly, inclusive team environment. DBS checks may be required and visa sponsorship is not offered.
Can you inspire, energise and connect with young people aged 5–18?
Do you love creating fun, safe spaces where children and young people can be themselves, try new things and build confidence?
Are you looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference - while being part of a friendly, supportive team?
Airplay is the RAF Benevolent Fund’s (RAFBF) flagship youth support programme. Delivered by YMCA at 23 RAF stations across the UK, Airplay clubs offer exciting activities, creative sessions and opportunities for children and young people aged 5 to 18 - helping them grow, have fun and feel supported.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, positive casual staff to join our Airplay team at RAF Henlow and help create welcoming, energetic sessions that young people love coming back to.
Please note that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship and can only accept applications from individuals who already have the right to work in the UK.
As some roles involve working with vulnerable people, a Basic or Enhanced DBS check may be required following a conditional job offer.
We welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates. If you have applied for a similar role within the last 6 months and were unsuccessful, please consider whether your experience has significantly developed before reapplying.
