Job summary

Nottinghamshire County Council invites applications for an Adoption Youth Worker to provide high-quality, child-centred support to adopted young people. This role focuses on promoting wellbeing, building trusting relationships, and delivering tailored interventions in a hybrid working environment.

Contract is fixed-term for 12 months, part-time 18.5 hours per week, based at Trent Bridge House, West Bridgford. Salary is £38,016–£41,023 pro rata.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in social work or a related field.
• A good understanding of attachment and the impact of developmental trauma.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Knowledge of legislation and policies related to adoption and child welfare.

• Develop trusting and therapeutic relationships with young people.
