Job summary

YMCA St Paul’s Group in London is seeking an ambitious Youth Work Development Manager to lead the YMCA St Paul’s Youth Project across multiple sites, growing services for 11-25 year olds and turning ideas into practical, high-impact delivery.

You will coach staff and volunteers, manage budgets and reporting, build partnerships with funders, and ensure safeguarding and inclusion remain central while you steer funded projects from concept to delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience leading youth services across multiple sites.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in youth-related studies.
• Proven track record of setting up and delivering funded projects from concept to outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead YMCA St Paul’s Youth Project services across multiple sites.
• Develop new youth services and funded projects from idea to delivery.
• Support, coach and motivate staff and volunteers.
• Manage budgets, performance, quality and impact reporting.
• Build strong partnerships with funders, local agencies and communities.
• Ensure safeguarding, inclusion and wellbeing remain central while adhering to budgets and processes.
