Job summary

Wiltshire Council's Young People Service is seeking two Youth Work Development Leads to shape youth work opportunities across Wiltshire. You will deliver Level 1–2 qualifications and partner with VCSE organisations to strengthen relationships and increase youth participation.

We value candidates with youth work, education or community development experience and a relevant degree. This role includes safeguarding responsibilities and a hybrid working pattern.

Qualifications

• Degree‑level qualification or equivalent experience essential.
• Experience in youth work, education, community development or related field.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accredited Youth Work qualifications at Levels 1 and 2.
• Support staff and volunteers to develop skills, confidence and knowledge.
• Collaborate with VCSE partners, schools and organisations to strengthen youth work.
