Job summary

Kibble is seeking a Vocational Instructor to join its Skills Academy Education Team. You will lead practical vocational learning in areas like horticulture, construction, or mechanics and tailor sessions to individual needs to boost confidence and employability.

Join a dedicated charity helping young people aged 5-26. You will contribute to safeguarding, safety training, and project initiatives while delivering high-quality, hands-on education.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering vocational training or practical skills.
• Relevant qualifications in your own discipline e.g. horticulture, construction, mechanics etc
• Experience in youth training and working with young people is essential.
• GTCS registration is desirable, and not essential.
• Demonstrating a clear commitment to continuing professional development, for example, studying towards a qualification in or relating to additional support needs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Possess a full driving licence and be willing and able to drive school transport.
• Competent in Microsoft Office Skills.

• Deliver high-quality instruction in your specialist area (e.g. horticulture, construction, mechanics, sustainability, enterprise).
• Adapt learning to meet individual needs and support engagement and achievement.
• Prepare and deliver qualification work and assess progress.
• Support development of employability skills and resilience.
• Maintain high health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide a supportive learning environment.
