Job summary

Together Trust in Cheadle, Stockport, seeks a Child & Adolescent Therapist (EMDR and/or CBT) to deliver therapy to students with emotional/mental health needs. The post is term-time, permanent, 37.5 hours/week over 41 weeks, pro-rated salary £39,667.04; full-time £43,150.00.

Qualifications

• Qualified with BACP/HCPC/BABCP/EMDR Europe accreditation.
• Postgraduate diploma in CBT or EMDR UK standard accredited training.
• Experience as CBT or EMDR therapist with autistic individuals.
• Experience involving parents/carers and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide CBT/EMDR therapy to referred students.
• Formulate and evaluate therapy programmes for children and young people.
• Develop and implement action plans with groups and individuals.
• Modify formulations and treatments to suit individual needs.
• Use evidence-based practice and consider trauma, anxiety, and school attendance.
