Job summary

The Together Trust in Cheadle, Stockport, is seeking a Child & Adolescent Therapist (EMDR and/or CBT) to join our inclusive, multidisciplinary team at Inscape House School.

You will deliver CBT and/or EMDR to referred students, work with parents and carers, manage a timetabled caseload, and help shape wellbeing strategies across the school, with a pro-rata salary and 37.5 hours per week over 41 weeks.

Qualifications

• Qualified with a recognised mental health profession and a Postgraduate CBT diploma or EMDR UK standards.
• Individual accreditation with BACP, HCPC, BABCP or EMDR Europe or equivalent.
• Substantial experience delivering CBT/EMDR with autistic individuals.
• Experience involving parents and carers within therapy and multidisciplinary teams.
• Passionate about improving outcomes for young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide CBT and/or EMDR therapy to referred students at Inscape House School.
• Formulate, implement and evaluate therapy programmes with groups and individual students and families.
• Modify formulations and treatments to suit individual children and young people.
• Apply evidence-based practice and critically evaluate treatment approaches.
• Support students with trauma, anxiety and attendance-related challenges.
