YMCA South Midlands in Northamptonshire is seeking a compassionate support worker to help residents develop independent living skills and progress toward employment. You will provide practical and emotional support, foster wellbeing, and support residents through challenges in a trauma-informed, person-centred environment.

Join a values-led team on a 37.5‑hour rota including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, with opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting vulnerable adults or young people.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and professional boundaries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to stay calm and make decisions in challenging situations.

Responsabilités

• Provide practical and emotional support to residents.
• Promote wellbeing and independent living skills.
