CareTech is recruiting a dedicated support worker for Cushathill, near Dumfries. You will help young people with daily routines, school preparations and engaging activities in a warm, home-like setting.

No prior experience? Training is provided. The role offers a full-time contract with a flexible shift pattern and a strong focus on safeguarding and care outcomes for vulnerable youths.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Background in education, youth work, childcare, healthcare, social care, learning disabilities, SEN or community services welcome.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with daily routines and getting ready for school.
• Assist with light housekeeping to create a warm home environment.
• Plan and join activities like trips to the park, movie nights, and creative projects.
• Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.
