Job summary

Paragon Social Care is seeking Children’s Support Workers to provide safe, stable care for young people in care. You’ll offer thoughtful, consistent support, help build trust, and foster a sense of normality in daily life.

A driving licence and access to a car are preferred; DBS enhanced check is required; NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care is helpful but not essential. The role offers competitive hourly pay, training, and opportunities to progress.

Qualifications

• Reliable, patient and caring toward young people.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own car is preferred.
• Clear enhanced DBS check, or willingness to complete one.
• NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Offer thoughtful, consistent care to young people who need it most
• Build trust and create a sense of normality in daily life
• Support learning, independence, and everyday life skills
• Prepare meals and encourage healthy habits
• Speak up for young people and make sure they are listened to
• Help them attend appointments and take part in community activities
