Job summary

Paragon Social Care Limited is recruiting a Childrens Support Worker to provide practical and emotional support to children and young people across residential homes and community-based packages. You will be a positive role model, helping young people feel safe, supported and encouraged while promoting independence and positive life choices.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Access to own vehicle for work.
• Available to work a minimum of 2–3 shifts per week.
• Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
• Desirable: Previous experience supporting children or young people (paid or voluntary).
• Desirable: NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or an equivalent qualification.

Job description

As a Children's Support Worker, you'll provide practical and emotional support to children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs within residential homes and community-based support packages.
