Job summary

Paragon Social Care is seeking dedicated Children’s Support Workers in the UK to support young people in care, helping with daily activities, learning, and independence.

You will help promote safety and wellbeing, build trust, and work flexibly across shifts in a compassionate team. DBS checks are required and training is provided to support your development.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• Ability to stay calm, understanding, and steady in challenging situations.

• A clear enhanced DBS check, or willingness to complete one.
• NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care is helpful but not essential.

In this role, you will:

• Help them attend appointments and take part in community activities

This role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check due to working with vulnerable young people. Safeguarding and promoting their welfare is a priority, and all applicants must share this commitment.

To join the team, you’ll need:

Pay

£17.50ph - £24.00ph PAYE Rate (including holiday pay)

£20.00ph - £28.00ph Umbrella Rate
