Job summary

Paragon Social Care in Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire is hiring a Children's Support Worker to assist young people in residential and community settings. The role focuses on providing stable, trauma-informed support and helping individuals reach personal goals.

You will work 2–3 shifts per week, using effective communication with young people and professionals, and you may need to drive a company vehicle to support activities and transport. DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Access to your own vehicle for work.
• Ability to work a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week.
• Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, trauma-informed support to children and young people.
• Build trusted relationships with young people and professionals.
• Support education, life skills and independence.
• Encourage participation in activities and healthy routines.
• Transport youths to school, appointments and community activities.
• Record accurately and contribute to safeguarding processes.
