Job Opportunity: Youth Support Worker

Role: Youth Support Worker

Category: SEND Support, No Prior Education Experience Required

Location: Wandsworth

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: 1-year contract (with potential for extension)

Contract Type: Temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent

Working Hours: Full-time, Mon - Fri, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Daily Pay: Up to £105

Are you an experienced and confident Youth Support Worker with a background in behavioural and SEND support? Do you have teaching assistant experience and are looking to join an outstanding College?

We are seeking a dedicated Youth Support Worker to join our team for a full-time, long-term assignment starting in September for the full academic year 2024/2025. If you have experience working with children and are passionate about making a difference, this is the perfect role for you!

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Create a safe, engaging, and enjoyable learning environment.
  2. Develop positive interactions to build students' confidence and self-esteem.
  3. Assist the class teacher and support classroom activities.
  4. Provide 1:1 and small group support to students.

  1. Available to work 08:30 - 16:00, Monday to Friday.
  2. Recent experience supporting children or adults with additional needs.
  3. Ready to start immediately as a Youth Support Worker.
  4. Willing to apply for or already possess an enhanced DBS on the update service.
