Youth Connect South West is seeking an experienced Targeted Support Team Leader to drive our services for NEET and at-risk young people, ensuring high-quality, inclusive support that helps them progress toward education, employment, training and adulthood.

You will lead a team of practitioners, oversee service delivery and contracts, and monitor performance to meet agreed targets, safeguarding requirements, and partnership commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a team in youth work, education, employability or related service.
• Experience managing projects/programmes and achieving KPIs/targets.
• Strong knowledge of NEET prevention and post-16 pathways.

Responsabilités

• Lead, manage and develop the Targeted Support team.
• Oversee service delivery, caseloads and intervention quality.
• Manage Targeted Support contracts and ensure KPIs/targets/outcomes.
• Attend contract monitoring meetings and report performance to commissioners.
• Lead contribution to Local Authority duties on participation in education, employment and training.
• Oversee NCCIS reporting and activity related to NEET and unknown young people.
• Ensure safeguarding concerns are identified, escalated and referred appropriately.
• Collaborate with schools, local authorities, Children's Social Care and other partners.
• Support staff through supervision and professional development.
• Use data and young people’s feedback to improve the service.
