Job summary

LOVE@Care Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking passionate Assistant Project Workers to support young people in the community. You will attend clubs and activities, help implement individual care plans, and work with families and partner agencies to maximise opportunities for the young people.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and caring attitude towards young people.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work in a team and follow care plans.
• Understanding of safeguarding principles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support our young people within the community through clubs, classes and activities.
• Follow and update each child’s care plan to achieve outcomes.
• Build positive relationships with young people and help them reach goals.
• Collaborate with parents and partner agencies to create opportunities.
• Communicate and document important information to colleagues.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to supportive team work.
• Have a basic understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
