Job summary

Thrive Tribe is recruiting a Children and Young People Stop Smoking Advisor to deliver specialist stop smoking support across Hampshire, with a focus on youth. You will provide tailored interventions, education and vape cessation support, working closely with schools and partner agencies to promote the service.

The role requires flexible delivery, including face-to-face, remote and community-based activities, and travel across Hampshire.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering stop smoking services to young people is desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively with partner agencies.
• Willingness to travel across Hampshire and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and group stop smoking support to children and young people (face-to-face and remote).
• Assess young people's smoking habits, motivation to quit, and risk factors.
• Develop personalised quit plans including NRT advice where appropriate and within local guidelines.
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate education on health risks of smoking and benefits of quitting.
• Engage with schools, youth organisations and partners to promote the service.
