Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic individuals for roles including Teaching Assistants, Sports Coaches and Support Workers near Gloucester. The positions run full-time with potential temp-to-perm options, starting ASAP through the academic year, Monday to Friday 08:30–16:00.

Qualifications

• Experience in Sports Coaching, Physical Education, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in coaching and/or playing a variety of sports.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with pupils, parents and staff.
• Proactive and dynamic approach to coaching and problem-solving.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour and maintain discipline in sport settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver coaching sessions for football and rugby.
• Provide guidance and instruction to students across skill levels.
• Monitor and evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
• Follow school policies on safety and conduct.
• Foster an inclusive, motivational environment for all students.
• Collaborate with staff to extend student participation in sports.
• Manage sports equipment and ensure facilities are safe.
• Address challenging behaviour constructively.
