Job summary

Cambian Group Plc operates Lavender, a children’s residential home in Cottam, Preston. This role supports young people with daily routines, education and emotional wellbeing within a safe, nurturing environment.

You’ll work as part of a team, providing sleep-in support (8 per month), building trusted relationships and helping care plans stay up to date. A UK driving licence is essential, and progression toward Level 4 in Children's Residential Care is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caring for children is preferred.
• Must hold or be working towards Level 4 in Children's Residential Care.
• Manual UK driving licence is essential to use company cars.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with daily routines, helping them get ready for school or college.
• Ensure care plans are up to date and that feedback from children is heard.
• Provide emotional support, build trusting relationships and work as part of a team.
