Paragon Social Care Limited is hiring a Children's Residential Support Worker for a Crook, County Durham home. You will deliver high-quality care to children and young people, focusing on safety, emotional wellbeing and behavioural support within a dedicated residential setting.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, following individual care plans and safeguarding policies to maintain a stable, nurturing environment.

Qualificações

• Experience working with children or young people, preferably in children's residential care.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.

Responsabilidades

• Support children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
• Promote a safe, caring and nurturing residential environment.
• Carry out regular welfare checks in line with care plans and risk assessments.
• Respond to incidents, safeguarding concerns and emergencies.
• Provide emotional support, reassurance and positive role modelling.
• Encourage positive behaviour through consistent boundaries and relationship-based care.
• Maintain accurate daily records, reports and handovers.
• Ensure the home remains safe and secure, including security and fire safety checks.
• Complete light household duties to maintain a clean, welcoming home environment.
• Support morning routines where required.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, managers and external professionals.
• Deliver care in accordance with Children's Homes Regulations, safeguarding guidance and organisational policies.
