Job summary

Brook Street in Preston is seeking a Residential Support Worker to join our residential childcare team, helping children and young people achieve positive outcomes and reach their full potential.

You will assist in creating a safe, nurturing home, build relationships with young people, support daily routines and promote independence, confidence and personal development. The role involves a 2 on, 4 off shift pattern with starts between 8am and 10am.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months' experience working with children and young people
• Passionate about supporting young people
• Experience in residential childcare, education, youth work or a similar setting
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Level 3 qualification desirable, but not essential if willing to work towards one

Responsibilities
