Job summary

New Reflexions is seeking a Residential Care Worker to support young people up to 18 across locations in Shropshire, Powys and Staffordshire. Roles include full-time and part-time shifts, with sleep-ins and a salary up to £34,320 per year including sleep-ins.

No experience is required; full training and support are provided from day one, and there are clear career pathways from hands-on care to leadership positions.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence required.
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help.
• Calm and reliable nature in challenging situations.
• Willingness to complete (fully funded) QCF Level 3 training.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, supportive relationships with young people up to 18.
• Assist with daily routines and emotional wellbeing.
• Participate in school life and lead educational and life skills activities.
• Encourage development through structured activities and community engagement.
• Promote independence while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
• Work with a team to deliver care plans and communicate with families.
