Lotus Recruitment Ltd seeks a Residential Care Worker to support children and young people aged 8 to 18 with SEMH needs and autism in Battle, East Sussex. You will help create a safe, nurturing home environment and assist with routines, education and emotional wellbeing.

The role is full-time (40.5 hours per week) with three 13.5-hour shifts on a two-week rota. You must be able to work every other weekend and participate in on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to drive.
• Right to work in the UK is required; sponsorship not available.
• Patient, emotionally resilient and committed to safeguarding children.
• Comfortable supporting children with SEMH needs and autism.

• Encourage independence, education and wellbeing.
• Assist with activities, appointments and community visits.
• Maintain accurate records and handovers; follow care plans.
