Job summary

Horizon Young Persons Service, part of Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership in partnership with Turning Point, is recruiting a Young Persons Recovery Worker/Schools Worker. The role involves delivering Stay Safe Days and drug/alcohol workshops to students in schools and providing harm‑reduction information to families and professionals.

You will manage a small caseload, act as a key worker for young people up to 21, and work with partner agencies to support service users with their goals and safer

Qualifications

• Understanding of drug and alcohol issues in young people.
• Experience designing and delivering workshops in school or community settings.
• Strong collaborative and multi‑agency working abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Stay Safe Days and drug/alcohol awareness sessions to KS2‑5 students.
• Provide information and harm reduction guidance to young people and professionals.
• Maintain a caseload as a key worker and conduct assessments and risk planning.
• Work with Stay Safe Partnership and outreach to support service users.
