Job summary

Juniper Training is seeking a Work Experience (Progressions) Coordinator to connect learners with work placements, apprenticeships and further education.

You will build relationships with local employers, assess student progress, and deliver engaging employability sessions while upholding safeguarding and safeguarding policies. This role offers a rewarding chance to shape young lives in the UK.

Qualifications

• Essential: Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
• Experience of supporting people into employment.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Desirable: CEIAG Level 3/4.
• Key Skills: Great communication, creative problem solving, organisational abilities, and a drive to hit targets.

Responsibilities

• Shout about our students: Build relationships with local businesses and promote learners for jobs, apprenticeships and placements.
• Celebrate progress: Review and assess student achievements regularly to keep them motivated and on track.
• Grow your network: Develop a network of at least 50 active employers across diverse industries.
• Keep it safe: Carry out risk assessments to ensure placements are safe and supportive.
• Guide the way: Offer career advice and deliver engaging employability workshops.
• Protect & inspire: Safeguard students’ well-being while promoting Juniper’s core values.
