Job summary

Juniper Training Ltd is seeking a Work Experience (Progressions) Coordinator to connect learners with work placements, apprenticeships and further education opportunities. The role focuses on building employer relations, guiding career paths, and keeping students motivated with practical activities.

You will coordinate with local businesses, run employability workshops, and ensure student well-being while aligning with Juniper’s values and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Essential: Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
• Experience of supporting people into employment.
• Driving license and access to a vehicle.
• Desirable: CEIAG Level 3/4.
• Key Skills: Great communication, creative problem-solving, strong organisational abilities, and target-driven.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with local businesses to create work placements, apprenticeships and job opportunities.
• Review and assess student achievements regularly to keep them motivated and on track.
• Develop a network of at least 50 active employers across diverse industries.
• Carry out risk assessments to ensure safe and supportive work placements.
• Provide career guidance and deliver engaging employability workshops.
• Safeguard learners' well-being while upholding Juniper’s values.
