Job summary

Groundwork in Manchester is seeking a Youth Projects Lead to deliver high-quality youth work programmes across Greater Manchester. You will manage a caseload of young people, lead interventions and partner with organisations to provide wraparound support.

You will develop skills, resilience and community engagement, using data to improve services, and you will travel across the region, supported by a strong team and clear safeguarding practices.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people facing marginalisation or complex challenges.
• Sound understanding of youth work principles, safeguarding and effective case management.
• Confident leading youth projects, managing budgets, collecting outcome data and working in partnership with other organisations.
• Strong awareness of social and economic challenges affecting diverse communities.
• Excellent communication skills, engaging wide audiences including via digital media.
• Clean and valid UK driving licence is required due to travel across Greater Manchester.
