Job description

In need of a Youth Offending – Case Manager in Westmorland and Furness.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with members of the multi-agency Youth Justice Service and other relevant agencies to deliver high-quality youth justice services aimed at preventing offending and re-offending.
2. Conduct accurate assessments regarding risk of harm, risk of re-offending, and other offence-related needs using the nationally recognized assessment tool – ASSET+.
3. Prepare pre-sentence and other court reports in accordance with national standards.
4. Supervise and manage pre-sentence interventions, including bail information, assessments, support, and support for clients denied bail, including remands to Local Authority Accommodation and Custody.
5. Manage Youth Justice Community Interventions aligned with national standards.

This is a locum role with ongoing commitment.

Experience is needed; a Social Work qualification is not required.
