Monarch Education is seeking a Youth Mental Health Support Worker to assist pupils in Wantage with social and emotional needs, both inside and outside the classroom. You will provide tailored 1:1 support and work closely with teachers to ensure appropriate wellbeing strategies are in place.

The role offers full-time hours in local schools, with opportunities to progress into contracts and access training such as safeguarding. A positive, adaptable approach is key to success in this setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils in schools or similar settings.
• Ability to work one-to-one with pupils with social/emotional needs.

Responsabilités

• Support pupils in the classroom and run activities outside the classroom as needed.
• Work with the class teacher to ensure appropriate support is in place for each student.
• Assist with training opportunities including safeguarding and related topics.
