Overview

Are you enthusiastic about supporting the mental health and well-being of children and young people? Our partnered school is part of the Cabot Learning Federation and is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Youth Mental Health Support Workers. We are seeking practitioners to support pupils who have an EHCP in the age range of 11-16 years old.

Role Requirements

We are seeking individuals with diverse talents and backgrounds, including but not limited to:

  • Must have SEMH experience.
  • Experience supporting individuals who find it difficult to build social and emotional relationships.
  • Individuals who have faced and overcome personal challenges, as your ability to connect and relate to our children on a deeper level is highly valued.
  • Passion and the ability to inspire are the most crucial attributes.
  • A driving license is essential, and candidates will need to have or be able to obtain business insurance. This is for transportation of pupils or outreach activities that leave the school site.

  • Work in an engaging, hands-on role, sharing your skills and passions to positively impact children.
  • Inspire, mentor, and support children who have been excluded from their schools, helping them re-engage with education and thrive.
  • Provide support alongside other teaching assistants and teachers to ensure the right support is in place for the students.
