Job summary

LinsCare in Ilford seeks a Youth Justice Practitioner to manage a caseload of youth justice cases including out-of-court disposals and statutory court orders. You will work in a trauma-informed, child-first framework and prepare reports to support sentencing and case planning.

The role requires delivering evidence-based interventions, collaborating with families and partner agencies, and representing the service in court proceedings. UK right to work is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must have a UK Passport or full Right to Work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Manage cases in line with National Standards and the HMIP Inspection Framework.
• Work using a Child First, Offender Second and trauma-informed approach.
• Complete AssetPlus assessments, planning and reviews.
• Deliver effective, evidence-based interventions to reduce offending and re-offending.
• Work closely with children, families, schools and partner agencies to promote positive outcomes.
• Prepare Pre-Sentence Reports, Stand-Down Reports and Panel Reports.
• Represent the Youth Justice Service at court and other relevant forums.
• Promote equality, inclusion and anti-discriminatory practice throughout all aspects of case management.
