Job summary

LinsCare is seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker for the Assessment & Intervention Team in the Southwark area. You will undertake Section 17 Child and Family Assessments and Section 47 enquiries, complete statutory visits, and manage a varied caseload in a duty rotas framework.

You will work with children, families and professionals to deliver timely, proportionate, child-focused interventions while adhering to safeguarding and statutory guidance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Strong experience in childrene9s assessment, safeguarding and child protection.
• Confident conducting Section 17 assessments and Section 47 enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Section 17 Child and Family Assessments and Section 47 enquiries.
• Complete statutory visits and manage a varied caseload.
• Collaborate with children, families and partner agencies to deliver proportionate, child-focused interventions.
