Job summary

WARRINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL is seeking a Job Coach to help learners progress in real workplaces. You will work with learners, employers and colleagues to create positive placement experiences and adapt support to individual needs, while also handling travel training and safeguarding.

You will join a team that values patience, reliability and practicality, supporting young people to succeed across education and work-based learning environments.

Qualifications

• Patient, reliable, practical and motivated to help young people succeed.
• Experience in education, care, support work or employment support is helpful.
• Ability to adapt support to individual learner needs and track progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical workplace coaching and personalised learner support.
• Collaborate with learners, employers and mentors to create positive placement experiences.
• Maintain records, travel training and safeguarding as part of the role.
