Job summary

Young Devon in Ilfracombe is seeking a dedicated Youth Housing Support Worker for 14 hours per week (Mondays and Tuesdays). Based in Ilfracombe, you will be lone working with young people aged 16-25, providing holistic housing support and helping with benefits, budgeting and access to education or training.

You will also help with health and safety checks in the buildings, and you will have on‑call support from management.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people is desirable.
• Ability to work lone‑handed and provide person‑centred housing support.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic housing support to young people aged 16–25.
• Assist with accessing benefits, budgeting, health and wellbeing, and education or training.
• Signpost for additional needs and be adaptable in communication.
• Undertake health and safety checks and assist with building oversight.
• There is on‑call support from management.
