Job summary

Depaul UK is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the Bishop Auckland Supported Accommodation Service and Tow Law Dispersed Supported Accommodation Service, supporting young people aged 18 to 24.

You will manage a team of Progression Coaches, Night Progression Coaches and Outreach Progression Coaches to ensure safe, effective, person-centred support, helping tenants gain independent living skills, education and employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering safe services to young people in accommodation and community settings.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge with risk assessments and support plans.
• Ability to balance risk with complex situations and maintain boundaries.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Commitment to equality, diversity, health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop staff to deliver high-quality support across accommodation and community-based services.
• Oversee safeguarding, risk assessments and support planning.
• Maintain housing management, property standards and health and safety.
• Manage budgets, monitor outcomes and ensure performance targets.
• Build strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities and partner agencies.
• Work with internal teams to ensure services run smoothly.
