Zusammenfassung

The Single Homeless Project in Greenwich is seeking a Service Manager for a 16 plus service to provide strong leadership, oversee an integrated team and ensure high‑quality assessment, support and move-on for young people.

You will drive safeguarding, housing management, risk, performance and day‑to‑day operations while fostering trauma‑informed, personalised support. The role also involves strengthening partnerships with local authorities, commissioners and providers to improve outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Experience managing accommodation-based, residential, youth, housing, social care or similar services.
• Understand safeguarding, housing management, health and safety, performance, quality and risk in a young people’s service.
• Support teams to work with young people facing multiple disadvantage using trauma-informed, psychologically informed and strengths-based practice.
• Balance warmth with accountability, creating a team culture with clear expectations.
• Build trust with staff, young people and partners, bringing integrity and courage to lead a service.

Aufgaben

• Lead safe, effective and high-quality delivery of the service across safeguarding, housing management, risk, performance and day-to-day operations.
• Provide confident oversight and ensure personalised, trauma-informed support for young people.
• Strengthen cross-agency partnership across Greenwich with local authorities, commissioners and partners.
• Foster a learning, ambitious culture within SHP and support ongoing leadership development.
