Job summary

Blue Triangle (Glasgow) Housing Association Limited seeks a Housing Assistant for our Falkirk young persons service. The role is full-time (35 hours per week) on a permanent basis, Monday to Friday on a 4-week rolling rota.

Based in Falkirk, you will assist care-experienced youths aged 16–25 and work with a supportive team. Applicants should have a genuine passion for helping people, ideally with 1 year of relevant experience and a willingness to pursue SVQ 3.

Qualifications

• To join us, you need a genuine passion for helping people.
• Ideally, possess 1 year of experience with vulnerable people and challenging behaviour.
• Demonstrated commitment to care practice per SSSc standards and policies.
• Ability to relate empathetically and respect client choice and independence.
• Able to work flexibly and as a lone worker.
• Able to use Microsoft Office applications competently.
• Ideally hold SVQ level 2+ and be willing to work towards SVQ 3.

Responsibilities

• Housing Assistant role at Falkirk young persons service involves Monday–Friday work on a 4-week rolling rota.
