Morgan Hunt is recruiting for a Young Person's Worker in South East London on a temporary basis (approx. 2–3 months). You will support vulnerable young people in a supported accommodation setting, managing a caseload and delivering targeted interventions to help develop independence and move-on readiness.

The role involves working across a 7-day rota, with shifts including early, mid and late patterns. You will collaborate with social workers, housing teams and external agencies to improve

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people or vulnerable adults.
• Supported housing, homelessness or residential experience.
• Strong safeguarding and risk assessment knowledge.
• Experience creating support plans and working towards positive outcomes.
• A trauma-informed, person-centred approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rota.

Responsabilités

• Managing a caseload of 8 young people and delivering key-working sessions.
• Creating and reviewing SMART Support & Safety Plans.
• Completing risk assessments and risk management plans.
• Assessing referrals and identifying support needs.
• Supporting young people moving into and settling into accommodation.
• Helping young people move on into independent/social housing.
• Working alongside social workers, housing teams and external agencies.
• Running activities that build independence and life skills.
• Supporting access to education, employment and training.
• Supporting with benefits, rent and service charges.
• Following safeguarding, Health & Safety and service procedures.
