Morgan Hunt UK Ltd is seeking a compassionate Day Centre Worker to support guests facing rough sleeping, homelessness and related challenges in SE18. You will build trusting relationships, provide practical and emotional support, and help individuals access housing, health services and community resources to improve wellbeing.

The role is full-time (40 hours per week) on a rota that includes weekends; you will work closely with partner organisations to ensure coordinated, person-centred support

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and confidentiality requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage diverse guests.
• Ability to provide practical and emotional support with a person-centred approach.

Responsabilités

• Support guests experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, substance use, or social exclusion.
• Build trusting relationships and maintain a respectful, non-judgemental approach.
• Assist guests to access housing, health, benefits and community services.
• Document support records accurately and follow agreed procedures.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner organisations to coordinate services.
• Adhere to safeguarding, professional boundaries and data sharing guidelines.
• Demonstrate flexibility to cover rota-based shifts including Saturdays.
