Job summary

Barnardo's in Leeds is recruiting a Lived Experience and Engagement Worker to lead capturing lived experience and engagement across the West Yorkshire Keyworker Service. The role is embedded in the Lived Experience and Engagement Team and involves consultation with autistic and/or learning-disabled young people and their families.

The post is part-time (14.8 hours per week) with a flexible hybrid working arrangement across community, office and home settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead supporting and capturing lived experience and engagement within the Lived Experience and Engagement Team.
• Work closely with autistic and/or learning-disabled young people and their families, co-designing and consulting to inform service development.
• Engage in activities including drop-in sessions, virtual appointments and 1:1 home visits where appropriate.
