Job summary

Leeds Autism Services offers a rewarding part-time Support Worker role focused on delivering person-centred care for autistic service users in a community setting. You will support daily activities, help set personalised goals, and maintain records in line with policy and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to build friendly, empathetic and professional relationships with service users and colleagues.
• Ability to effectively communicate with individuals using their preferred methods of communication.
• Commitment to ongoing training and development to support practice.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the welfare and development of service users by providing high standards of care.
• Promote inclusive, person-centred care planning practices.
• Support service users to plan and achieve personal goals under agreed plans.
• Support service users in a non-judgemental manner in line with Positive Behaviour Support.
• Assist service users to access activities that help achieve goals and outcomes.
• Assist with recording and maintaining health and safety and service user records.
