Job summary

Barca-Leeds is looking for two Youth Workers to support young people aged 8-19 through group work, detached and outreach interventions at Manor House, Bramley.

You will plan and run groups, activities and tailored one-to-one support, with evening availability 2pm–8pm. A Level 3 in Youth Work and at least 12 months’ experience are required, with the option to work towards the qualification. This is a fixed-term post to 31 March 2027; safeguarding checks apply.

Qualifications

• Must hold a minimum Level 3 in Youth Work.
• Over 12 months of Youth Work experience or willingness to work towards the qualification.
• Fixed term role until 31/03/2027.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver groups, activities and tailored packages of individual support.
• Be available for evenings between 2pm-8pm to support current timetable.
• Develop positive relationships and manage challenging behaviour with young people.
