Zusammenfassung

The Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a 12-month therapist post in East Cheshire 0-18 Eating Disorders Community Team. You will assess, treat and support young people and families within a multidisciplinary framework and work with CAMHS partners.

Responsibilities include individual and group therapy, risk assessment and engagement with education and training of staff and the public. DBS checks and NHS registration are required.

Qualifikationen

• Core professional qualification and national registration required.
• Experience in eating disorders CAMHS or similar mental health setting.
• Skills in assessing risk and deliberate self-harm.

Aufgaben

• Provide assessment and diagnosis of eating disorders.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy.
• Work with families to support recovery.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists and other clinicians.
• Provide education and training to staff and the public.
• Liaise with generic community CYPMHS.
• Train in a range of therapeutic models, including Maudsley Family Based Treatment.
• Contribute to research and innovation in eating disorders.
