Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Community Eating Disorder Service Practitioner (Band 6) based in Macclesfield to deliver the FREED early intervention pathway for young people with a first episode of eating disorders.

The role involves engaging, assessing and providing interventions for eligible individuals and families, with liaison to FREED teams across the region and a focus on rapid, developmentally appropriate care.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in a relevant field and appropriate registration.
• Registration with NMC/HPC or BACP accreditation is required.
• Additional post-qualification study or willingness to pursue it.

Responsabilités

• Assess and treat people eligible for the FREED pathway within the Eating Disorder Service.
• Engage families, adapt evidence-based treatments for first-episode illness, and support transitions.
