Role Overview:

Are you a dedicated and compassionate support worker passionate about making a positive impact on vulnerable individuals? Our client provides high-quality care to children and young people with challenging behaviors, ADHD, or coming from traumatic backgrounds. As a Support Worker, you will support their daily needs, manage behaviors, develop self-esteem, and ensure safety.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting children and young people's bedtime routines during night shifts
  • Effective communication with team and young people
  • Supporting with personal care and promoting independence
  • Following risk assessments and management procedures
  • Reporting to management
  • Understanding individual needs
  • Carrying out domestic duties
  • Consulting with children, young people, and families

Requirements:

  • Helping vulnerable individuals engage in activities
  • Good written and verbal English skills
  • Willingness to undertake further training
  • Genuine desire to help with a compassionate nature
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care or willing to work towards it
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a children's residential setting
  • UK driving license and own car
