Job summary

Imago Community is seeking a CYP Coordinator to support Young Carers aged 5-18 in Canterbury/Thanet or Sevenoaks/Tunbridge Wells. The role requires managing an existing caseload, meeting families, completing statutory assessments and providing short-term interventions to improve resilience and wellbeing.

You will work with schools and Children’s Services, make referrals, and deliver respite activities. The post is full-time, offering 37.5 hours per week and a permanent contract, with travel

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people desirable.
• Experience working or volunteering in education, health or social care is beneficial.
• Right to Work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the service across a specified area; own car essential.
• Manage an existing caseload and new referrals; meet with families and Young Carers to complete statutory assessments and provide short-term interventions.
• Work with schools and Children's Services; make referrals to professionals and services to meet whole-family needs.
