Job summary

Imago Community is seeking coordinators for its Short Breaks service in Kent. You will plan and deliver engaging activities for young people with additional support needs, work closely with families, and help create a safe, welcoming space across a variety of venues.

The role requires weekend work, Saturday shifts, and travel across Kent, with a pro rata salary up to £27,000 per year for the right hours. Immediate start available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have relevant experience of working or volunteering with children and young people in education, health or social care, and have exceptional organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, arrange and deliver a programme of activities for children and young people.
• Coordinate sessions across Kent, including heritage sites, outdoor activities, and community events.
• Support families by organising family days and ensuring enjoyable, safe experiences.
• Travel across Kent and, when required, assist with minibus driving and transport arrangements.
