Job summary

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is offering a Year in Industry placement at Scroby Sands Offshore Windfarm, Great Yarmouth. You will join the Operations and Maintenance team for a 12-month fixed term, full-time contract, site-based position starting July 2027.

The role focuses on fault analysis, engineering strategy support, and hands-on experience alongside qualified wind turbine technicians, with comprehensive training and safety development throughout the programme.

Qualifications

• Eligible to undertake a Year in Industry placement as part of your degree programme.
• Residence in the UK for at least five years due to National Security Vetting requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage an independent workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Analyse wind turbine faults and suggest modifications to prevent recurrence.
• Support development and implementation of engineering and maintenance strategies.
• Assist on technical projects and gain project management experience.
• Develop knowledge of health and safety management and reporting.
