Job summary

SF Partners is seeking a Year End Accountant to join our Nottingham team on a temporary basis. You will prepare and finalise year end accounts in line with UK standards, working closely with the finance team to gather data and ensure accuracy.

Daily rate of £350 applies during the year end period. You will manage reconciliations, assist audits, and deliver clear financial reports to management within deadlines.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years' experience in year-end accounting.
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards.
• Experience in audits is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete year end accounts and financial statements.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
• Post adjusting journal entries as needed.
• Assist with external audit schedules and documentation.
• Analyze financial information to identify trends and issues.
• Coordinate with finance team to gather data and report to management.
• Ensure internal controls compliance throughout year end.
• Provide timely updates on year end status to management.
• Support ad hoc reporting during the year end period.
